Jennifer Lopez has no time for haters — and she needs to ensure the world knows it. As Yahoo! Style reports, Lopez took to Instagram on Thursday to share a sexy selfie with her 66.9 million followers. In the picture, the 47-year-old (!!) is seen reflected in a mirror, sporting baby blue sweatpants and a cropped white sweatshirt, her legendary abs on full display. After sharing the image, a few eagle-eyed fans noticed a small smudge on the right side of the photo, which many took as evidence that the selfie was Photoshopped. Several fans commented on the post, accusing Lopez of retouching the photo (something that numerous famous people, including Beyoncé, have been found doing).
One fan commented,
“You already look great. Why the need to Photoshop?! Goes to show you that fame and fortune can’t buy you self-confidence.”
Another (rudely) added,
“Look at her forehead, face, arm…it’s the worst Photoshop job I’ve ever seen. Heck, my 7 yr old could’ve done a better job than that.”
Obviously, Lopez was having none of that and ventured into clear up that the smear was, truth be told, only a blemish on the mirror. In the remarks, the “I’m Real” singer wrote,
“Omg…Just a smudge on the mirror…lol…not Photoshop #lordblessthehaters #gymrat #youshouldtryit #iwishtherewasaphotoshopforthehaters.” She at that point screen-shotted her remark and added it to her Instagram story, ensuring her splendidly cheeky rebound wouldn’t get covered in the steadily developing ocean of remarks. If lone there were a mic-drop emoji.
